Blues trade Nick Lamont(05) to Haliburton Huskies of the OJHL

The Collingwood Blues would like to announce the trade of forward Nick Lamont(05) to the Haliburton Huskies along with the OJHL rights for Goaltender Brett Fullerton(04) in exchange for Forward Declan Bowmaster(05).

Lamont was acquired in the offseason from the Toronto Patriots in exchange for Antonio Cerqua(06). In 15 games this year for the Blues Lamont had 5 goals and 7 assists for 12 points in 15 games along with tallying 18 penalty minutes.

Brett was a member of the Blues in 2021-22 before becoming a full time member of the Saginaw Spirit in the OHL for the 2022-23 season. With Saginaw hosting the Memorial Cup this season the inevitable happened with the Spirit acquiring a veteran goalie to bolster the roster in preparation of hosting.

“Nick is a very good hockey player and equally as good of a person. The Blues wish Nick all the best in Haliburton”.
Andrew Campoli Blues Head Coach

“Brett is coming back to the OJHL and was looking for a starting position, we wanted to accommodate Brett to make this happen”
Mike Tarantino Blues General Manager

Bowmaster comes to the Blues after recently committing to Hockey East, Merrimack for 2025. He currently has 4 goals and 1 assist in 12 games to go along with 4 penalty minutes. He will wear #10 for your Blues and will make his debut in Collingwood Friday vs Leamington Flyers.

“Declan is a strong winger, who has a good amount of skill and gives us another right shot up front.  We expect him to come in and fit in right away with our group.”
