Collingwood Blues clinch 2023-24 OJHL Regular Season Title

Your Mike Jackson GM Blues have wasted no time this year getting back to work following the Buckland Cup Title in 2022-23.
The team has been ranked in the Top 5 of Weekly CJHL Rankings fueled by Gatorade since September. Those rankings are comprised of a 118 teams across Canada from 9 leagues. Currently as of this article The Blues are ranked #2 by the CJHL Top 20 rankings fueled by Gatorade.

The season began with the dominance of the Cottage Cup on home ice. Your Blues opened the 2023/24 OJHL season winning the first 6 games. They have gone on to have 10 & 14 game undefeated streaks this year at separate points. Those streaks have propelled the Blues to an OJHL leading 45 wins and counting. The Blues offence is #1 pacing the league with 267 goals for in just 52 games. The back end continues to rewrite the record books. Currently the Blues lead the OJHL with 77 goals against in 52 games. Starting Goalie Noah Pak paces the league with 12 shutouts on the year a new league record. Individual player stats are available here.

With the Wellington Dukes making a rare appearance in Collingwood on Family Day at the Eddie Bush Memorial Arena. Playing to their usual packed house The Blues sent all 1102 fans home happy with a convincing 5-0 win! With a Niagara Falls victory over Trenton, The Mike Jackson GM Collingwood Blues are officially the 2023-24 OJHL Regular Season Champions. This guarantees the Blues home ice advantage through any of the 2023-24 OJHL Playoffs that will open tentatively Friday March 8 in Collingwood. The Blues will be the West’s #1 Seed.
