Thank you Blues Crew and Blues Nation for your loyal and dedicated support for the 2024/25 Collingwood Blues. This season was remarkable in itself being a rebuilding year after winning two successive Ontario championships and a national title for Collingwood and region.

General Manger Mike Tarantino, Coach Andrew Campoli and their staff once again proved that their leadership is at a national elite level. Going through a meticulous selection process in selecting the 24/25 team where they focused not only on talent but also teamwork, attitude, and dedication, they brought together a diverse group of young hockey players who complemented each other’s strengths and growth areas. They and the Blues players cultivated a culture of resilience and collaboration leading to the remarkable season that was filled with hard-fought victories, personal growth, and unforgettable memories. This synergy was the cornerstone of the team’s success setting an exciting standard for next season also.

Thank you to our remarkable young men – you each represented the Blues brand, as one parent said, with “dignity and passion”. David and Christina Steele as owners are to be saluted for their unwavering support to the team. Commitment comes from the top down. They set that standard everyday. The Blues executives for their efforts and support to the Blues and community. Countless hours not seen.  Dale West, Mitch Brock, Joe Montesano and their crew for game day production, Sue Mueller and Jamie Berman for hospitality and bus driver Ted Thomas.

Thank you to Mike Jackson and all of our sponsors. Your collective support is vital to the team’s success. Thank you to our billet parents and player parents for ensuring the true meaning of “Blues’ family” is a reality. Thank you Collingwood Optimist Club, Collingwood Legion Branch 63 , and the Collingwood Kinsmen club for your support to the Blues organization and Collingwood charities. Thank you to the arena staff. You are such a pleasure for us all to work with. You so contribute to game day.

As we started, we wish to close by saying thank you founders, season ticket holders and game day fans. Your support saw the Blues attendance game average come in at 914 fans over 32 home games. Our final game was emotional for us all. You Blues Crew and Nation displayed the class act you are known for by your standing ovation to our young men and coaching staff who represented you, Collingwood and region throughout the season.

Thank you, thank you. Go Blues!

From Your Collingwood Blues Organization,

David Steele and Terry Geddes
