The Collingwood Blues put on a spirited performance Friday night at the Eddie Bush Arena against the Leamington Flyers. It was a tightly contested game, with the Flyers taking an early 1-0 lead and holding it for most of the match. The Blues fought valiantly, refusing to let up, and their perseverance paid off in the dying seconds of regulation. With the crowd on their feet, the Blues scored a thrilling goal to tie it 1-1, sending the game into overtime. After a scoreless first OT, the Flyers managed to find the back of the net in double overtime to take the win. While it wasn’t the outcome we hoped for, the Blues showed incredible heart and secured a valuable point in the standings.

In a sharp turnaround, the Blues hit the road today and delivered a commanding performance against the Haliburton County Huskies. From the opening puck drop, Collingwood was in complete control, dominating every aspect of the game. The team’s relentless offensive pressure and airtight defense led to an impressive 6-0 victory in enemy territory. The win was a testament to the Blues’ resilience and ability to bounce back stronger, showcasing the depth of their talent and determination as they continue their push in the season.
